GT Sports International Championship

This past weekend took place in the circuit montmeló, Barcelona, the festival of speed. There were some colleagues sponsoring with the OCC SPORT shirts, and OCC MOTORSPORT caps, to participate in the GT Sports international championship that is taking place. Competing with your custom cars with our brand OCC SPORT.

In this championship, the Xesco and Loe teammates managed to reach the final phase and were even chosen to join the Lucas Ordoñez Team in the event. Lucas is a professional racing driver who runs for Nissan.

In this final phase in the group of each one Xesco did not manage to pass from position 11 and read after a small fault in the first corner he managed to go up to position 9. Even so to have reached this final in this championship makes us very satisfied. Note that in the group of our colleagues in the final were people from the TRL team as Lightin and Fuvaros arrived from Uk and of course one of the best simracing pilots in Spain as is Manu Rodri, also component of Team TRL.

In the circuit of Barcelona with a great millitude and with about 150 racing cars, and about 300 pilots, and approximately 18,000 spectators come to see the show, to enjoy the pit walk, of the signature session of the pilots of the Blancpain GT Series, the concentration of modified cars, the successful finals of the Nissan GT Academy and the parade of the Nissan Heritage Parade to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the incorporation of Lucas Ordoñez into his racing program. An endearing environment as there is not in other races or other events and a density of careers that left no rest. The Festival of Speed has lived up to its name thanks to the varied and continuous spectacle during the weekend, with some races that coin the nobility of the Gran Turismo competitions.

The appointment is set in 2019 on September 27, 28 and 29, with a new edition of the Barcelona Speed Festival that will once again host the Blancpain GT Series at its final appointment at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
