Mask all surfaces that are not to be coated. Mask rubber stamps with FOLIATEC.com Easy Up Tape (item #79920). You should also protect the wheel housings and the underbody of the vehicle from spray mist. Clean and dry the surface to be sprayed, including edges, then degrease using FOLIATEC.com Carbody Spray Film Pre-Filter (item #79934). After cleaning, remove any remaining dust with a feather duster. Applying Hard Rock Liner Basecoat with the FOLIATEC.com DIY Spray System: Apply Hard Rock Liner Basecoat in 2 generous coats. Work at a medium pace on level 2 and set the amount control on the pistol grip to level III or IIII. Spray Gun Application: Apply Hard Rock Liner Basecoat in 2 generous coats at a medium rate. Use a 2.0 mm spray nozzle with a pressure of 2 - 3 bar in a suitable spray booth. Flash for 30 minutes after the first coat of spray. Note: It can be overcoated with Hard Rock Liner once completely dry (after 4 - 5 hours at 20°C depending on the thickness of the layers). Preparation of the Hard Rock Liner: Shake the hardener in the Hard Rock Liner well for approx. 2 minutes. Fill the spray gun bottle, push on the cap, break the seal, and screw the spray gun onto the bottle. Applying the Hard Rock Liner with the FOLIATEC.com Hard Rock Liner Gun: Apply the Hard Rock Liner with a slow pace and pressure of 2.5 - 3 bar until a coverage of approx. 50% is reached. After approximately 60 minutes, a second coat should be applied for 100% coverage. Note: After 60 minutes the Hard Rock Liner is dry as a powder and should be allowed to dry for approximately 24 hours at a constant temperature.
