Avoid damage during storage (placement on the garage floor) or from contact with the bike. 10-Piece Universal Set 3.7" x 3.7", 2-Piece 3.9" x 7.9", 2-Piece 2.4" x 7.9", 2-Piece 2.2" x 6.5" , 2 pieces Ø 3.1", 2 pieces high-quality PVC material transparent durable self-adhesive film prevents scratches and damage to the paintwork and to the bike carrier 3D applicable can be removed Application Additional tools: Squeegee; utility knife; cleaning cloth FOLIATEC.com high-quality microfiber (item no. 31920), hair dryer The best way to find out the contact points of the bike rack in the paint is to mount the bike rack, mark the contact points with a pencil or masking tape, for example Adjust the film with a cutter if necessary. The application must be done in a place protected from wind, dust and direct sunlight, the ideal temperature for the application of the sheet is between 15 °C and 25 °C (60 °F and 75 °F) Wash the surface of the vehicle where the film is to be applied with detergent and water to remove dirt, grease and wax. Use silicone remover, isopropanol, or alcohol for cleaning (do not use ethanol or petroleum ether). Dry the surface with a lint-free cotton cloth. Mix approximately 1 liter of water with a teaspoon of commercial detergent in a spray bottle (with a fine mist nozzle). To avoid getting fingerprints on the foil, first spray your fingers with the water and detergent mixture and carefully peel the foil off the backing paper. Spray the adhesive side and then the surface you want to apply the foil to. Lay and align the sheet on the surface. Press the foil evenly and lightly. Using the squeegee, spread the excess fluid from the center out. Remove or absorb the liquid with a cotton cloth. It is recommended that you use your fingers to wrap the film around one edge. If the film does not stick directly, you can slightly heat it with a hair dryer. After about 72 hours, the residual moisture has completely evaporated and final adhesion is achieved. Tip: We recommend leaving the film on the paint for a maximum of two years. It must then be replaced.
